Caricature Museum Krems is Austria's only museum devoted solely to caricature, pictorial satire, comics and cartoons. It is a mere five-minute walk from the Krems-Stein landing stage on the Danube and attracts thousands of visitors a year to the Wachau.

Nestled between the historical heart of Krems and the medieval city center of Stein and surrounded by a number of cultural venues, it is the perfect destination for an outing with the entire family. It has a permanent exhibition of the Austrian Old Master of Caricature Manfred Deix (1949 - 2016) as well as alternating exhibitions of locally and internationally renowned caricaturists and illustrators.
