The Wachau Railway, which is over 100 years old, has been running on a new design and program since 2012. It travels from Krems to Emmersdorf on weekends and public holidays, and daily in summer. The impressively elevated route gives the best view of the Wachau. Themed trains are in use on certain dates. The train journey also includes culinary delights and expert travel accompaniment.
"Ship & train" combination tickets are new to the offer, for example to by train and back by ship - or vice versa.
