This approximately two-hour hike leads you from the Kremser Pfarrplatz through the Untere Landstraße to the Wiener Brücke. From there it goes along the Krems river to the Rehberg elementary school and then across the forests of the Kuhberg, through the Schießstattgasse and past the Piarist church back to the starting point.

Course (rough description): Pfarrplatz - Untere Landstraße - Wiener Brücke - along the Krems river to the elementary school Rehberg - Waldhofweg - path through the forest - shooting range - Piaristengasse - Piaristenstiege - Pfarrplatz
Course (detailed): The hike begins at the main entrance to the Krems town hall on Pfarrplatz. From there, head east and turn right at the end of the square in able to turn left onto Untere Landstrasse. Cross the entire Lower Landstrasse until you come to the Vienna Bridge. On the left side of the bridge as you see it, a staircase leads down to the banks of the Krems River. Continue to follow the Krems shortly coming to Mölkergasse and walk next to the street. Not long afterwards you enter the beekeeping path and can walk undisturbed, without Krems traffic. Via the Ufergasse, shortly before the Schmittbrücke, a green painted steel truss bridge, turn right into the Graf-Falkenhayn-Promenade. After a barrier you come to Mühlhofstrasse and walk through the modern residential area. This road then flows into the Seilerweg, on which you finally come to a bridge over the Krems river. You cross the bridge and the street, turn right and walk a few meters on Rehberger Hauptstraße until you turn left into Waldhofweg after the elementary school. After a left curve and a right curve you will enter the forest. After about 450 meters you come to a diagonall crossing alley. At this point, you can still see a few buildings through the trees. Now you have to make a sharp left and then follow the white-blue-white markings through the forest. Finally you come to the curve of a wider forest path and turn left into it. From then on it goes downhill until you come to an intersection, where you turn right into Schießstattgasse and pass a yellow house. Via Schießstattgasse you will reach Wachtertorgasse, where you will continue to descend. Before the federal high school, turn right into Piaristengasse, where you can admire the impressive statues depicting the suffering of Christ on the church walls. Opposite the church, the Piaristenstiege turns left, which takes you back to the Pfarrplatz, the starting point of your hike.
